for Jill Prescott
Chef-dom can be an exclusive, better-than-thou kingdom. Already semi-famous, Jill Prescott opened her culinary school in downtown Chicago. She needed a clear point of difference from Chicago’s many, often tradition-steeped, noses in the air culinary schools. A campaign was created to welcome serfs and sirs, handmaids and maidens to the art of cooking well.
A site was developed to book classes and parties online, housing a fabulous recipe book as well.
Over 200 classes at any given time were handled on the site and it was most people's first and best way to learn about Jill and how she taught all comers the culinary arts.
The site helped propel Jill to hosting a PBS cooking show with a national pupil base that, sadly for Chicagoans, spelled the end of her Chicago school.
